Although my professional life moves in a world distant from art (computer sciences), photography has always ignited my true passion.
My journey with photography began with a Kodak Instamatic, given to me by my parents when I was 12 years old.
My family roots played a crucial role in shaping this passion. My aunt Teresa introduced me to the technical world of photography through Andreas Feininger's books. My uncle Alberto, an entrepreneur in the lithography sector, gave rise to my first step towards serious photography. When I was 16, I was gifted with an Olympus OM-1 and a Nifty Fifty.
Since those crucial moments, photography remained a constant in my path.
In 2011, after graduating with a degree in Professional Photography @ NYIP, USA, I conceived the brand/website "ThePureImage" and started to sell stock images.
Next July, I will graduate with a BA Hons in Photography @ Open College of the Arts, Open University, UK.
On the threshold of professional retirement, I am preparing to dedicate myself to photography.
With an eye to the future, photography is my “next step”.
